THE BEAUTY OF OUR COASTAL AREA ITSELF, ESPECIALLY OUR CALANQUES, IS HALF OF THE SUCCESS OF OUR TEAM BUILDING ON THE MED.
It may be difficult to admit that half the success comes purely from the impressive scenery, but this is true when located in such outstanding places as the Calanques, the Bay of Marseille, and the Bay of Cassis. You might think we are a little mean holding you back from wilder water activities, but we believe that taking in the sights and enjoying yourself at sea is an essential part of the experience. Also, since the area is located in a National Park and so that we can enjoy this area for centuries to come, stringent rules apply. We follow these rules to the letter.

ACTIVITIES « NAUTICAL RALLY » BY ISY PROVENCE
Our carefully chosen skippers pilot our nautical rally programmes. They work with us all year round on a fleet approved by the Parc National des Calanques and are equipped for commercial use (two conditions for group water activities in Marseille and Cassis).
Our captains are selected not only based on their technical skills but also on their ability to communicate, tell stories and use English. At ISY Provence, we know that the quality of a nautical rally depends not only on the roadbook, but also on the captain’s personality.
THE EVENT WILL BE A SUCCESS NOT ONLY FOR THE WINNERS BUT FOR EVERYONE AS THEY ALL ENJOY THEMSELVES. ENJOYMENT AND FUN ARE, ABOVE ALL, WHAT WE DELIVER DURING OUR NAUTICAL RALLIES.

THE MISTRAL IS OUR GREATEST OPPONENT: SOMETIMES ITS WINDS ARE TOO STRONG FOR US TO TAKE TO THE SEA, SOMETIMES NOT STRONG ENOUGH. SO, RIGHT FROM THE OUTSET, WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A FALLBACK SOLUTION.
Two days before your event, we make the decision. We put our teams on stand-by for both activities, and no cancellation fees are required. The icing on the cake is that our “land” activity is often less expensive than the one at sea.

Some water activities are water sports in name only.
Let’s be clear, the boats built by your employees won’t be taking sail from Marseille to Cassis! At most, they will make it five times in a relay around the jetty. We must remember that this is a Team Building activity. The goal is to work together to build our boat, which is what makes the exercise worthwhile. The time spent communicating, organising, dividing up tasks and listening to each other is the key to making this an engaging activity.
IT IS ALSO A GREAT IMAGE FOR YOUR COMPANY: WORKING TOGETHER, BUILDING, SO THAT TWO MEMBERS OF THE TEAM CAN NAVIGATE THE BOAT, THE BOAT, WHICH WILL BE FASTER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE THAN THE OTHERS:
We are ultimately all in the same boat.
The Bay of Marseille and our Calanques are two of our greatest treasures. The Mediterranean Sea is an integral part of our culture and landscape. The Grand Bleue is both exceptionally beautiful and exceptionally fierce. On some days, trips out to sea are unthinkable; on others, we question; on others, our Mediterranean seems like a lake.
SO, OVER THE YEARS, WE HAVE LEARNED TO READ THE NAUTICAL WEATHER REPORTS, LISTEN TO THE LOCAL FISHERMEN, AND LEARN FROM THE SKIPPERS WHO WERE OUT AT SEA UNTIL WELL INTO THE NIGHT.
We combine all this information to be as accurate as possible about what is likely to happen. Please understand that we are not magicians. Weather forecasting is a more complex science. We decide whether or not to resort to the alternative together, as a team. The advantage of this is that, from the outset, we provide an alternative “land” option. You are guaranteed a high-quality team building activity, whether it is on water or land. You manage your budget from the get-go. Even if we love surprises. This time, there won’t be any!
